Terms & Conditions

By booking or attending a class with Jenn Donn Pilates, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Classes are designed to be supportive, progressive, and tailored to your body and goals, including for clients who are postpartum, returning from injury, or new to Pilates.

Pilates is a form of physical exercise and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

1. Booking Responsibility

Clients are responsible for booking classes in advance via the website or the agreed booking method.

Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received, where applicable.

Clients are responsible for ensuring the correct class, date, and time are selected at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1 Group Classes

Jenn Donn Pilates group classes are sold as part of pre-booked block courses. By purchasing a block of classes, the Client acknowledges and agrees that cancellation rights do not apply to individual sessions within the block or agreement.

Missed classes within a block booking are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-creditable, except in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of Jenn Donn Pilates.

Late cancellations or non-attendance may result in the session being charged in full or forfeited.

Exceptional circumstances may include, but are not limited to, bereavement or hospitalisation. Where requested, reasonable supporting evidence may be required.

Where appropriate and subject to prior approval, a substitute participant may attend a missed session, provided this is suitable for the class level and does not compromise safety or programme structure.

2.2 Private Sessions

Private sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.

Failure to attend a scheduled session (non-attendance or “no-show”) will result in the full session fee being payable.

Rescheduling is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

2.3 Refunds

Refunds are not guaranteed and will only be issued at the discretion of Jenn Donn Pilates, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Where a refund is approved, it may be issued in full or in part, depending on the circumstances.

No refunds will be issued for missed or unused sessions within a block booking, except in exceptional circumstances as outlined above.

2.4 Instructor Cancellations

If Jenn Donn Pilates must cancel a class or session for any reason, clients will be offered one of the following, where appropriate:

  • An alternative class or session;

  • A credit for future use; or

  • A refund for the affected session.

Jenn Donn Pilates shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential costs incurred by the Client as a result of cancellation, including travel or related expenses.

2.5 Substitution

Where appropriate and subject to prior agreement, a substitute participant may attend a booked group class in place of the original Client, provided that the substitute meets any relevant health and suitability requirements for the class.

3. Health and Safety Declarations

3.1 Clients are required to complete a health screening declaration before participation in their first class or session.

3.2 Clients must inform Jenn Donn Pilates of any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, postnatal status, pain, or physical limitations before each session and whenever their health status changes.

3.3 It is the Client’s responsibility to seek medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional where there is any doubt regarding their suitability to participate in physical exercise.

3.4 Participation is voluntary and undertaken at the Client’s own risk. Clients are responsible for exercising within their own limits and for notifying the instructor immediately if they experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, or any adverse symptoms.

3.5 Jenn Donn Pilates reserves the right to modify exercises, restrict participation, or refuse instruction where participation is considered unsafe or inappropriate.

4. Liability

4.1 Clients acknowledge that Pilates and other physical exercise activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, strain, or aggravation of pre-existing conditions.

4.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jenn Donn Pilates accepts no liability for any injury, loss, damage, or deterioration of health arising from participation in Services, except where such liability cannot be excluded under UK law.

4.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law.

4.4 Clients are solely responsible for ensuring that they are fit and able to participate in all activities.

4.5 All personal belongings are brought to classes at the Client’s own risk. Jenn Donn Pilates accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

6.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance.

6.2 Accepted payment methods include [card payments, bank transfer, or other approved systems].

6.3 Failure to make payment in accordance with these Terms may result in cancellation of the booking without notice.

6.4 All prices are subject to change. However, confirmed bookings will not be affected by subsequent price changes.
